About

The Awaysted philosophy was formed in the summer of 2015 when Zane Timpson, Pablo “P-Splifff” Ramirez, Elijah Akerley, along with Romario Caceres and myself (Adam Anorga) left San Francisco and headed north toward Portland, Oregon.

This was our first real skate trip as a newly formed group of friends.

On a trip like this it becomes relatively easy to disassociate from the normative standards of society. Everything becomes a joke and as collective insights and dialects take form, the overwhelming amount of new raw experiences creates a natural high.

As daily routines dissolve, suddenly you find yourself accelerating toward a perpetual forward into otherness. You’re Awaysted.

As skateboarders, this is a magical realm - where spontaneous decisions guide us toward a path of personal enlightenment and self-discovery. 

Being immersed in this feeling is where we’ve found our truth and purpose.
